Representative Experience

• Assisted health care providers in complying with the Stark Law and the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Drafted lease agreements, management agreements, option agreements, promissory notes and security agreements related to transfer of ownership interests for hospitals.
• Assisted in due diligence analysis related to several hospital acquisitions through analysis of viability of current Medicaid revenue streams and identification of opportunities for additional sources of revenue.
• Developed corporate documents and contracts to implement business acquisitions and development of new hospital companies

Prior to becoming an associate, Ms. Church worked as a law clerk at Gjerset & Lorenz, LLP and as a judicial intern for U.S. District Judge David Hittner. While attending law school, Ms. Church was a student attorney at the Domestic Violence Clinic and the Student Notes Editor of the Texas International Law Journal.
